RE: [Jackal Owners Club] New season frustrations

Thanks all for the side cover source . Found out from the MG local
service/dealer here that decals can be had for about $35 a pair.

Can't help with the speedometer, but for the side cover, you might try the

MGNOC classifieds. There was at least one EV being parted out, and aside from

paint and decals, the side covers are the same.

Also, Moto Guzzi Classics in California offers fiberglass repos that are

"guaranteed not to crack." I'm not sure how much they are, but in

my past dealings with them, prices have been reasonable.

Good luck!

Jay

February (brrr) whenever the ice wasn't on the road. To be fair, I've

only ridden to work about 10 miles away, but still in this area that's out

in the cold wind with slacks and spring gloves on. Can't say that my fingers

weren't frozen in the first 10 minutes of a 20 minute ride.

on one of my rides. Anyone know a good place to get a replacement? The shop is

quoting me near $200 for a silver one. $92 unpainted.

screw loosened off the speedo cable, but that's just wishful. It likely

broke now that the Odometer cleared 23k. Any suggestions on troubleshooting or

other advice, as I've never had this happen to me and barely know how this

works on the Jackal.
