I forget which forum had it, but I remember reading of a method to burn two holes (with an electric soldering gun) in the back of the Jackal/Stone speedometer

My odometer went at 19500 miles on my 03 Stone. The speedo works fine. I have never bothered to replace the speedo because I always ride with my Garmin 276C
