No - the quality of the bike isn't exactly the reason for not
replacing the switch. My wallet is. If I can't fix it I just don't
want to spend the money. If I do bypass it I will leave the warning
light working.

I too have had a kickstand wake-up call and it is NOT pleasant.

Hopefully it's just something that needs an adjustment. And thanks
for the concern guys - I do appreciate it.
