I understand and agree Dick.

You have to keep in mind that my bike is just a bit junkier than most.
I have to do things that you shiny-panel guys wouldn't. If the
kickstand just needs to be adjusted to go up further than GREAT! I'll
fix it. If the switch is bad, then it's OUTTA THERE, never to be
replaced!

This is the first bike I've had with that (annoying) safety feature,
so it wouldn't be missed.
