Description

The Institute of Highway Incorporated Engineers (IHIE) Guidelines for Motorcycling are intended to compliment the UK Goverment's motorcycling strategy and be used by Highway Engineers and Transportation Planners, but they have been written in such a way as to be accessible by non-engineers and end users. Please use this site to leave your comments, suggestions, etc. on the Guidelines as well as examples of Good and Bad practice. For those of you new to the guidelines check out the briefing document in the 'files' section The Contribution that the guidelines make to road safety has now been acknowledged with a Prince Michael International Road Safety Award
