Hi

I have a 1990 TC510.

The front spindle clamps have developed a crack on both fork legs.
Is this caused by over tightening of the clamp or fatigue from years of
racing?
Does anyone know if the lower part is replaceable?
Do they come away from the stanchion like the manual suggests?
Are the bits likely to cost lots of money because they are WP?
As these cracks are only a few mm deep, could a good welder do the job?
Anyone else repaired alloy like this?

I think the forks are White Power 4040 units.

Any other models use these forks, so I can widen my search if I have to buy
some second hand?

Thanks
Alan
