The way the economy is around here, in the Detroit area, we're lucky if the few
"sponsors" that are left, don't pull out
altogether........................remember, when this tour was being planned,
gas was over $4.00 a gallon! For us in the "Big 3" area, we're amazed, that the
whole thing has not been called off....................how many people do you
think could afford a 5-6000 mile round trip at those prices? This comes from a 8
time tour guy, 6 of them long hauls.............

What a croc!
Mapquest says its :
Total Estimated Time: 12 hours 54 minutes
Total Estimated Distance: 804.81 miles
And that is a POWER TOUR?
GIMME A F...ing brake
Why not
Augusta Maine to Portland Maine?
Or
Seattle WA to Tacoma WA
or
Miami Florida to Ft Lauderdale Florida
Or
Wait....
Corona to East LA
Guys in HOT ROD MAGAZINE have lost all credibility! !
Power Tour used to be North to South
or West to East across the country but these clowns not have a Long
Haul that a Penske Rent A Truck can do in one day with only one fill
up enroute
