If you search on EBay for SL350 and manual you will find service manuals ranging
from $15 to $60 for a 'buy it now'. You probably have already looked.
So .. for something quick, dirty, and free go to the link below and scroll to
the bottom of the page and look for the 34.5 Mb PDF.

I finally got a few pix posted. Crummy day to take'em tho, have some glare I couldn't get rid of. If my battery would show (like it was supposed to last Friday) I could find out if it will start or not.

Any of you guys live in the Plano, Texas area? I have a new battery that fits the 71 year. May fit the 72? I bought it by mistake for my 70 SL350.
Not me. you are ab it west and South of me (Greenwood, AR. Near Fort Smith) to
the tune of about 277miles/4hrs & 40minutes, according to Map Quest. Just my
luck.

Okay, I'm new to the group. My first bike in 1976 was a Honda SL 350.
I rode it about 6 months and bought a 1971 Honda 750. Should have kept both. But
today I found myself a project 71/72 SL 350. Mostly there but will be needing
the right brake lever and mount, rear fender, gas tank lid, left electrics,
throttle assembly probably, and other bits as I go on.
It shows only 7500 on the clock. The pipes I hope I can rebuild.
The front seems tweeked a bit or maybe not I haven't really checked it real
close but the handle bars do not aim the tire straight.:)
Any way, I hope y'all don't mind me hanging out!
Robert
PS I ride a ST4 Ducati now and it was feeling a bit lonely.
Yes, although I rebuilt one for a '75 XL350. Very similar except the right hand
switch only provides the on/off function with the H/L function moved over to the
left hand side. The '74 XL350 used the very same control as the K1 and K2
SL350's with the OFF/L/H function on the right hand side. I haven't seen the
K0's switch.
I still have the pieces from the old one in a bag un-assembled and a NOS one
('75) that I traded for using a NOS switch from a '74 model. I can see that
there are two ball bearings and a small spring in the bag. Looking at the
complete NOS one it appears that the spring goes into the hole at the top of the
plastic slider and forces one ball bearing, larger of the two, to sink into the
notches in the housing .. thus you get the detent as you slide the switch. It
appears the other ball bearing, the smaller of the two, is under the kill switch
where there is also a small spring inside the kill switch on the bottom side to
also provide the detent.
Hope this helps.

I have a right side and left side muffler, they are currently on my 1970 sl350. I stripped one of the spark plugs, and I just don't have the money to get it fixed. I can send you pictures, if you are still looking for the right side. It has a dent in it, but it works well. Randy's source for the mufflers was Overlander as well, but if they have quit
producing them then I imagine he is already searching for another source so it's
worth checking with him.
Too bad I didn't go ahead and invest in a set when the exchange rate was 1 USD
to 1.5 AU earlier this year. But I never could get the right muffler to break
loose from the right header and I wasn't going to cut if off since the pair
would have made a good Ebay posting.
