Hello,
We have a 2000 Honda Odyssey with 179,000 miles on it and have towed
since about 40,000 miles. The best advice that I can give is to make
sure you have the auxillary transmission cooler installed (if it is not
already), have your transmission fluid changed religiously every 30,000
miles with honda certified fluid, and make sure to downshift into "D3"
if the transmission is hunting gears (not to be confused with the torque
converter locking and unlocking, this is fine). I have towed a Jayco
12' pop-up (heavy) and and now regularly tow a 17'5" Speed Boat 3,000 lb
with no problems.
