Hi. Wear a pair of latex gloves. This will help you slide the molding
out wthout cutting your finger. I also used a two inch putty knife to
help ply the molding away. It snaps back into place very easily. No
need to disconnect your battery. Just put the ignition key in the
accessory position so you can put the shifter in the lowest position,
D4. The link I gave you is pretty detailed. The only photo omitted
was the removing the bulb, but I think you'll be able to figure it
out after you remove the clock assembly from the panel.
I ended up doing this exercise four times over the past two weekends,
so its pretty easy. 30 minutes start to finish. The first time I
replaced the clock bulb, but then my turn signal and hazard button
didn't work afterwards. I figured I messed up the hazard button
connection. So I took the dash apart again and found I bent one of
the contacts on the hazard plug when re-connecting it, so be careful
when you do put it back together. I then noticed the light on the
hazard button wasn't lit, so I took the dash apart again to replace
the bulb. It uses the same size bulb as the clock bulb, so its a good
thing Radio Shack sells them as a pair. Getting the bulb holder out
from the hazard button was a bit tricky.
Good luck!
