Hi Everyone, It's been a while since I posted. I sold my 77 CB750 to my son in Pensacola Beach. He's really been enjoying it but it's time for a little work to...
He should buy a manual and some tools and do the work himself. It's very hard to find anyone anywhere who wants to work on 30 year old motorcycles. I live in...
It is usually just a Carb cleaning problem or a tear in the accelerator pump.Bet a small engine shop could clean them, but maybe not sink them. I would just...
Hi Group, So I am looking at my carbs and noticed that the dash pot (is that the name) lever does not hit the lever on the throttle linkage shaft. I have to...
Jamie, I have an extra set of carbs and as soon as I can dig them out,I'll check out the linkage set up. As far as the operation, the dash pot uses engine...
Hold on a minute. Better check that . I think there is a pot in there that will be fried if 12 volts are directly applied to the wires . Take a volt meter and...
I have a second set of carbs - they are old and crusty but good to look at for reference. I can see that this is installed ass backwards. Wonder if who ever...
The previous owner(idiot) broke the bleeder valve off the front brake caliper on my 76 CB750A and the caliper is in need of a rebuild. Since I can't bleed the...
Depending what part of the linkage is on backward, you should be able to pull just number 4 off from the others. The hardest part is removing the roll pin...
I double checked the Honda manual and thats the way it says to check operation....apply battery voltage to solenoid and see if vacuum will pass though. You had...
Well I did hit the solenoid with 12 V and heard it click so I would have to say at this time it is at least alive, I will know a lot more when these are back...
The vacuum hose looks hard might want to replace it to have a tight fit. The slow speed jets are always getting plugged up also . So check them while you have...
Hello to All: I currently have a Haynes Manual and am trying to locate a 'Honda Authorized Service Manual' for this bike. What I am hoping that someone already...

I got the Hondaman CDI box installed, along with Dyna coils and wires, and Hondaman's resistor pack for the coils. I mounted the box under the seat next to...
...I've only heard good things about it over on the SOHC boards...am anxious to hear your evaluation. How is the box from hondaman? J. Mark Locklear ...
...sorry, how MUCH is the box, and how tough was it to install. What kind of "send" unit is at the crank where the points used to be? J. Mark Locklear ...
Mine was $107 with all the options, a resistor pack to use with the Dyna coils, and shipping. The points trigger the CDI box. There is no load on them now,...
Looks pretty cool. Hope it works out as good as advertised. jk ... Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now. [Non-text...
Hi forum people. I have both a 400a and a 750a. I've become entranced with stripping some weight off the 750, but don't know where to start. Any thoughts? Has...

Thinking about buying a CB750A. The ad says its been in storage a few years (?) Said it ran great when he stored it. Said the carbs were frozen cause of the...
You asked for opinions,so I'll give you mine. I just finished the restoration of a 77 750A. I bought it last fall and took all winter getting back together....
Unless it is in really great shape, you may want to pass. It took me two months to get mine in good running order, and I have auto nmechanics training....
