I had a similar problem to this one. It was a problem in the front
suspension near to where it connects to the wheels. My dealer managed
to solve the problem easily. It seems to be a normal problem with HR-Vs.

Sounds like the CVT is almost broken.. I would tell your dealer about Honda's CVT issue and have them replace it.. I would not waste money on the transmission...
