Subject: [Honda HRV] Re: Violent
Vibrations
Does the car have automatic transmission (CVT)?
This can develop a shudder at take-off and it has
nothing to do with
the driveshaft or secondary (4WD) clutch but is to
do with the
internals of the automatic gearbox.
A Honda dealer may treat the transmission with
special anti-shudder
oil, otherwise the outlook is not good.
