Subject: [Honda HRV] Violent Vibrations

Hi ALL!
A good friend of mine owns a 2002 3 Door HRV. It has been a
lovely drive for the past year. Recently, he started experiencing
mild vibrations when moving from a stand still. I had a mechanic
check under the car and he confirmed that ALL moutings and bushings
are in good health and in place.
Now the virations are getting VIOLENT. The rattle feels as if the
long shaft was loose. Someone advice me that it could be a rear worn
clutch. I was also just informed that the 4WD system on the HRV is
similar to the CRV. It has rear cluth which is rare in other
systems. Is this true?
Does anyone have a shop manual? for sale? rent? loan? Ive tried
looking in E-bay and Amazon to no avail. Hope someone could help me
out or point me in the right direction.
thanks!

edmund
