The sliders are not ROUND. Almost teardrop shaped. The shape has more to do with the difference than the weight. They dont roll the actually "rock" or "pivot"....

Mike, I can't answer that as I only have 5K on mine. I changed from rollers to Sliders at about 2K on my '06 mainly because of the hype the slider company...
