After riding home from work on Friday I noticed that final drive gear oil had leaked/escaped from the release valve.  Not just a drop or two, but enough that I could smell it and see that a light coating was on the left sidewall.  I haven't checked the final drive oil level in quite awhile, let alone added any, so why would pressure increase enough all of sudden for it to need to escape through the valve?
