I have a completely diffent experience. I have a 2000 Citrus with 190K on it.
The tires last me approximately 60K, and the SIDES of the tread wear out first,
especially with the front tires. I rotate the tires every other oil change &
this helps, but does not cure it. I run 40 PSI and get the same tires that were
equiped with the car, Bridgestone Potenzza. I did notice a drop in mileage
after the original set were replaced. The only thing I could figure was the
compound was a little "softer" providing better traction & lower mileage. All
subsquent tires provided the same mileage.
