They never figured out the issue. They just erased the codes and ruined my mpg
by driving
it around town for the day but, not like the guys in Ferris Bueller's Day off.

They said that maybe the interior exhaust vents were constricted enough to make
the
computers overheat.

I wonder if Jeep Cage type taillight covers could help avoid this for the trip
back? I'll just UPS
everything but my travel bag and the iBook.

Weird, because once I arrived, I immediately, emptied the car of everything.
Stripped down to
registration and insurance papers and drove it for 2 days. Light never went
out.

Light has never came on since.

Time for a first brake job though. Soon.

The dealer said that the FIt is going to get the whole Insight Hybrid system
soon.
