FYI
The 2000 insights had the OBD2 port on the passenger side foot
area,right near the foot climate control vent.
The 2001 and up insights have it on the driver side where Richard
Lewis indicated.This driver side position is the standard position for
the port on all cars, so us 2000 insight owners have the port in a non
standard position.
