the links don't seem to work. I am building a rear wheel drive using a '71 VW frame with a motorcycle front end grafted to it. it's going to be a cross between a Trimuter & a Tryon, with my own styling cues. I'm going to be building a fiberglass body & using various parts of other vehicles. Once spring comes & the snow melts (usually in May) I'll finally get to start.
I'll be posting my progress from time to time on the group. if you can think of a different link I can use to get to the 3 wheelerreplicas group, feel free to send it to me.
thanks, Trey

Hi John. I have a Pro Tools bender that works very well. The dies are outrageous, but that seems common to all benders. Another good source is Low Buck tools (google them). Have you seen the pic's of the Messersmitt Spelling, sorry) streamliner on the 3 wheel replicas group site? Very nice especially when you consider he has only been building a short time. Cheers. Dave Allen.
I posted this over at the Cabin scooter group as well since not all of us cross over groups. I think there are probably members here that would be interested in this review. I have been eyeing up the Harbor freight tubing bender (not the infamous pipe kinker) since it first appeared on their website but had held off as the dies were too small. .5" .75 and 1". Well it seems they are mislabelled as the dies are actually 1", 1.5" and 2" diameter tubing dies. This wouldn't work real well for the tight radius bends, but is definitely a good starting place for some of the large smooth bends that may be more common in a CS. Here is a review I found today through my dune buggy forums.
