Recently bought a 1977 Buick Skyhawk hatchback and although I need
numerous parts, what I need most at the moment is a good fuel gauge
sending unit, it mounts in the gas tank to the fuel pump bracket. I
have 2 of them, but neither one seems to spec out correctly. I have a
request into the local Chevy dealer as I believe that the Monza part is
the same, also Pontiac Sunbird hatchback and Oldsmobile Starfire
hatchback. Don't have a GM part number yet, but I will post it when I
get it. NAPA showed the part for 1979 and later Skyhawk, but nothing
previous, and nothing for Monza. Carquest couldn't help at all. My
Skyhawk has a space saver spare, that may be relevant in terms of
size/shape of gas tank, not sure. Most parts are interchable from 1975
to 1980 on the "H" body hatchbacks. Any way if you think you can help,
