I assume that was meant for me so I will give you my feelings on this. When a
guy intaends to cut 3/4 of the floor, expand the rear wheel wells, install an 8
point cage and a fiberglass front end, there is NO reason for him to cut the hell
out of a car that has been out of production for 30 years. There are still
plenty of rusty Vegas out there waiting to be torched up.In fact I have a couple
bodies myself that if they dont get raced, they get scrapped.
?HOWEVER..When I see that car on Ebay (the 13000 mile '73 GT) that has a V8 and
has had every mechanical part changed,it irritates me. I know it gets done every
day but it bugs the crap out of me every time. I know I am far from alone in
this attitude because an aluminum valve cover for a Vega engine just sold for
over $300 on Ebay.
?Just leave us restoreres the few virgin cars that are left. And your '73
Kammback? I bet its cool,I can see that its fast..but it is NOT restored.
Restored Vegas turn 19.2 at 73 MPH.

Better to restore them and DRAG RACE them then to let
them rot. 73 Kammback 10.25 @ 128 LOL...
