profile too. I will post it soon at the photo album site. Do you have any
other pictures of emblems or decals?
H-Body Pictures Wanted!

Online Emblem &
Decal Guide
I'm collecting pictures of the badges
and decals found on every model of H-Body. Buick,
Chevy, Olds, Pontiac, every one. I am making an online
"Badge and Decal ID Guide" that will be sorted by year
and model.

Vehicle Pictures Too !
I'm also
collecting photos of every color of every model H-Body,
including interiors. Send me pics of your car for that
project too. I would like to have one set of pictures for
each color of each model, each interior, each engine,
all available wheels, and customs too. Help me make
this dream come true.

What Pictures Do We Want
?
Pictures of the vehicle from 8 key angles of the 360
degree plane. Head-on, 45 degree left front, left side,
45 degree left rear, directly behind, 45 degree
right rear, right side, and 45 degree left front. Then
I would like pics of the interior to include door
panels, dash, steering wheel, shifter, radio, seats, rear
cargo area, spare tire, engine compartment, engine
accessories and brackets. Scan thos pics using at least a 400
or 600 resolution in JPEG format.

Together We
Can Do It !
I know this is a lot to ask, but
together we can make it happen. So get out your cameras
and take some close-ups and some full-body shots.
Obviously the better the quality of the vehicle or part and
the picture the better chance it has of getting
posted. If you want credit for the pictures I use, let me
know and I will add your name to a log of credits of
those who donate their pics for this project that will
be also posted.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED !
As my
site has grown, I have started to get behind in
maintaining it. I would like to have volunteers to help
maintain the photo archive site at

Still waiting to hear from a large number of club
members who have not contacted me yet reguarding the HBOA
MEMBER DIRECTORY. Once again I am going to put in a plea
for everyone who hasn't emailed me their info, to do
so now. HBOA_DIRECTORY@...

I am
looking for YAHOO IDs, names, addresses and phone numbers
of all the members and any pics or web links if
possible. If you do not have a scanner and would like me to
scan a pic for you, you may also request my address
and i can scan it and mail it back to
you.

Please, lately there has been a lull again and I have not
heard from anyone I know there are A GREAT DEAL of new
members out there, I would like to get them all involved
too.

Out of over 300 members, I have ONLY heard from about

If you scanner software can save giles as
JPEGs,
then it usually asks you what quality to use.
I
would save one high quality for personal use,
then
save a lower quality to upload here.
Play with the
different quality levels to see
how big the files get. I
find that for most
pictures you can go to a quality
of about
40% before you really notice any
blemishes
on the picture. This reduces the file size a LOT.
i'm gonna drop off some pics to gerry to scan into the club album of some of my
vega/monza toys and models i don't want to hog space either so please let me
know how its done bob
I noticed that when I posted pictures of my vega, the file size was huge. How
can I change this so that I don't hog the space for others to post pictures
here?

kevin
