Re: Dried out Gizmo

The sensor is "required" by the Zivan charger to determine battery pack
temperature to ensure it does not overheat, as best as I can detemine. I
think I had to purchase it, as it didn't come with the vehicle. This
was more than a year ago, so I am not certain why I had to have it, but
I think the charger would have failed to work without it, based on the
flashing error codes. It might be possible to program the charger to
ignore not having a sensor attached.

The F/R switch was installed when I got the vehicle, a slick rubber
covered toggle switch. The wiring is cable-tied to the frame tubing,
for some of it, but I was able to snake a few smaller wires into the
frame tubing. I installed a PakTrakr and a CycleAnalyst which needed
wiring from the pack to the dash.

I checked my logs today and it has been one year and one week since the
Gizmo first rolled. A bit more than 1700 miles on the Gizmo, with
probably 5000 miles on the WAW (velomobile) and very few miles on my
wife's Xebra or the ICEs.

think).
