Hello Colin,
Great to have a bike with the same name as your own! Lucky friend you have.
;-)
I can help your friend already with the kickstarter-lever.
Give me his postal address and I will send him the part.
Once arrived, he can pay whatever he likes and/or what he thinks it is worth
to him.
Considering the other parts, I am in the process of cleaning out my garage
to make room for my BFG and will keep only 1 Belgica 200cc/1955 and I just
sold off a whole lot of parts to my friend Joris VL.
And soon there will be listed the last 250cc on eBay, together with my last
spare parts. Keep an eye on www.shop.reKup.net .
As we all keep close contact through the mailing list, I suggest your friend
takes pictures of the missing parts (mm, bit difficult! ;-) or at least
some photos of the surrounding parts, so we can have an idea of which parts
he needs. As almost all bikes are different built with parts of the shelf,
available at that moment. So it is a question of determining the right parts
he needs.
The mailing list can be found through my website www.belgica.reKup.net .
Virtuele groet,
