I can't help with the springs, but welcome to the
crowd. You might try www.fsjnetwork.com or
www.ifsja.org and see if there's someone there that
might be able to help.

Hey all - If anybody is looking to sell jeep parts or a jeep, check
this site out --> www.free-jeep-classifieds.com
they are fairly new and listing items is completely free.

I had a killer job, then killer school hours too :/
Good to see some familiar names. Built a 67 M-715 with a cummins turbo
diesel about a year ago, but she broke pretty bad and was sold to
someone locally who I knew could take better care of it. I've made
Lindel a co-moderator as well to modify the page if necessary. Seems
like our kind is a dwindling breed. I'm currently dabbling around with
locating another 715 to play with. Not 100% sure if I can commit to
one since storage and work space are limited. I'll try to check in
daily again to kill off the spam as well.
Hey folks...
Just wanted to try to get more out of our club's forum and hoped you
wouldnt mind me listing it here i your clubsite.

Thanks, Lindel;
I’ll check those links out.
A little googling led me to the National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration website, and SUPPOSEDLY, Jeep made a retrofit for shoulder
belts for the GW 1984-90 for $46. here’s the link to the page:

m
I’ll call round to a few dealers tomorrow and see what I can discover.
Thanks again!

Hi Ruth,
As you're probably finding out, shoulder belts for the back are a rare
commodity. I've heard they were optional, but I've never seen any.
Here's a few websites that might have some more info on them.
www.bjsoffroad.com www.wagonworld.com www.fsjnetwork.com www.ifsja.org
One is strictly parts, the other sells FSJ's and parts, and the last two
are forum/mailing lists that might be able to provide some answers.

I'd rather have her in the back on the rare occasions we're on the
freeway. Besides, I'm getting a little weary of her commentary on my
driving, as well as getting the stink eye from folks when they see her
in the front seat.

Hello folks. Just a little update and a re-work of the looks of the
page.
My 715 is sitting in storage for the time being. Body's off getting
new sheetmetal here and there. Driveline has changed two or three
times, but currently there's a 454/TH400/205 setup sitting on the
frame. Looking to probably change that out for a 502/SM465 or NV5600
before its all said and done.
Anyhow, just letting you know your founder hasn't fallen off the
face of the earth! :)

the filter is great. i have it in my car. the quality is beyond
amazing! i was researching a little bit and found more info on it...
Spin-Flow is an new oil filter by NASCAR Select that has special
flowing fins that
channel oil through the filter to eliminate turbulence and direct
large particles down and away from the filter media to improve oil
flow and filtration efficiency.
In traditional oil filters, oil rushes directly into the filter
creating in-filter turbulence that restricts flow through a
significant portion of the filter media.
That means the oil has to work harder to filter through approximately
60% of the media. That's very inefficient. By comparison, the NASCAR
Select with Spin-Flow performs at maximum capacity and efficiency,
which leads to a better-performing engine. In the NASCAR Select with
Spin-Flow, angled fins channel the flow of oil as it enters the
filter. Oil circulates through the entire filter directing large
particles down and away from the filter media resulting in the
efficient flow of oil and a minimum of turbulence.
^^^hope that helps for people that dont have it yet:)
hi,i am ankit
the other day i went to the auto fair where there was a kiosk of NAPA
and they had their products lined up and the one produck that got my
eye was the spin flow oil filter selected by NASCAR.
it looked great and had a lot of advantages ovet the old one which i
use now.
i checked up there site as well http://www.napafilters.com/nselect/
and was wondering if any of u guys have tried it ,
pleas let me know abt it as i want a new oil filter.
and they also have a contest on the website where u get the results
immediately and can win loads of stuff.
so just check that out too.

Well I posted the above back in August of 2002 and now its April 2003
and no sign of the owner of this board. In the meantime the spammers
have poluted the place til no one cares to come around I guess. This
is the travesty of the web and these do-it-yourself forum sites, any
and everyone thinks they have the discipline to be a webmaster and
then poof their gone and leave crap scattered all over the highway.I
am going to try to find old Snakeyes and see if he'll relinquish
control so we can give this site a decent burial, after a little spam
clean-up.
======================
Now it is June 2004 and still no sign of the owner of this old
forum/board.
Lindel I see you still come here on occasion. Would you be willing
to take this board if we can find SNAKEEYES?
I seldom view any of the FSJ sites anymore, altho I still own my
Cherokee. It is wasting away like this and other sites however.
Snake lived in Houston back when and I will try to locate him. If
you see any sign of him on another board please get a contact
address. I think all we need is for him to go into this site and
either transfer to one of us the ownership or at least full access
as moderator/s. Then we can either bury this thing. or keep it open,
I don't think we would ever be able to make much out of it what with
the FSJs quickly disappearing and the owners already hooked on to
one of the other forums..
