i was aware that the F2T is what comes in the GT. i just thought that the tranny
i bought from a wrecker was from a v-6, i guess it came from a GT. i know i
pulled the CV axels from a LX with a 6. i hope to swap out my rear suspension
soon also to have the disc brakes but im not sure if the proportioning valve is
different on the GT. but yea all that which you listed has to swap as far as i
know. i did. i still don't get though why i have higher gears than ever before,
i thought all GT's had low gears. my mx6 with an F2T and p-205/60R15's ran at
2600 RPM@55MPH in top gear. with my current setup i do about 2400 to 2450 RPM@
55MPH in top gear with 195/70R14's almost the exact same height. my mx6 ran at
2600 with 195/70 14's also. i guess my speedo could off that much but it seems
right on the spot. i guess ill need to check it to be sure though. thats why i
thought i came from a V-6 car. --- In

The V6 block is larger so the bell housing part of the tranny will have a
different bolt pattern, will not work!
GT's do not have a V6 it is a 4 cylinder F2T engine.
If you want to use the GT tranny you will need a GT clutch, GT flywheel, GT
hydraulic slave cylinder and hydraulic line, both axles and the one halfshaft
and both front hubs and the tranny mounts, and the shift linkage if its a 5
speed.
Hopefully thats it if my memory serves me right.
Goodluck

to see there are still people poking their heads in once in a while. I remember
back when the club was still just a few years old, things were hoppin' around
here. Already this month we've posted more than any other month in the past two
years or so, crazy huh?
