The reason for the shifter moving so much in gear is usually the bushings for the shifter underneath the car.. I have a 90 gt and i had the same problem. I

i am also looking for a short shifter for the 3.0 noone is making the first gen shifter any longer so extremely hard to find , if any of our members have one
