Just looking for some help!

Hey everyone,

I have recently have begun
experincing a problem
with my '89 festiva. It's kind of
hard to explain
but here goes, I recently bought a
new battery for
my car and replaced the cable ends
at the same time. well now for some reason the
battery won't
hold a charge. The really weird thing
is I have
begun to hear a "clicking" noise
coming from somewhere behind the speedometer I suppose
from the engine compartment. the noise seems to
coincide with the car losing all internal lights
and of
course after that once I shut the car off it won't start
again, I have had the battery and
alternator tested
and both checked out ok. Has anyone else had this
problem and if so could you fill me in as to what I
should be doing to fix this problem. Thank you!!!

Look for a heat/wiring problem. There is a good possibility that the wiring going to the module is damaged and causing a short/open which is frying the module....
