So about a month ago I was cruing past a recovery lot and spied an '89. Bought
it for $100. It is an auto. It does not run. Any thoughts on where to start?
I don't have a key, so I'll be dropping the column to remove the ignotion lock.
I was thinking timing belt. Oil leaking from all gaskets, transfluid leaking
from gasket. Oil and trans fluid are both nice and black(except for the 3 qts
of each in the back) Radiator dry, but it's not in the oil and hoses all look
good.
Anyone have a left fender? It's the last part I need to restore it before
modifying/ upgrading. I'm also looking to redo the A/C. Any thoughts on where
to source new/rebuilt A/C parts?
I'm picking up a 5 spd in two weeks. Have the hard parts to upgrade to Aspire
brakes, protege mirrors and steering wheel as starting points for custom. Will
likely lower it when I replace the rotten bushings and balljoints.Anyone know if
Festiva Motorsport still stocks the J-spec style bumpers and side skirts?
