From what I know of automotive controls, I don't see how a K&N
filter would cause a sensor issue. As for the cause of the light
coming on, you really need to have someone with a proper scan tool
(OBDII compliant) connect to the truck and see what is the problem.
I'm not familiar yet with the Ford computers, but am pretty up on
late 80s Chrysler turbo and V6 systems...
As I've passed 11,000 miles on my 2002 S'Crew, I hope *I* don't see
that light pop on in 5000 miles...
