Re: [F150 SuperCrew] Lifting a Supercrew

Wow...

I was beginning to think this group was dead....it still might be

Hey steve

I think i might go 4" too.....yeah the f-150s look sweet lifted.

I don't know a lot about the suspension vs body lift either.

I do know with 4" you can put larger tires...wich I am considering. I was
told I couldn't go too big until there was clearance under the wheel well. I
am not goind INSANE BIG either, just for a bit more performance and of
course the look.

We get snow here about 4 months or so..NE Sierra Nevadas. So i think I will
get rid of my Bigfoot XT tires and go a bit more aggressive. Hence the
question of lifting or not. I thinks so....my wife.....????? Duh

I did just replace all 4 shocks...midas relflexer or something like that. I
DO NOT LIKE THEM! they are just a bit too mushy. I didn't want too
stiff...but these are just slowing me down in turns, and just need a bit
more firm action. But now I am going to sit with them until I do the lift.

Hey..

Whay prices have you seenfor the lifts for your area? I lived down in
SanBernardinoa while bakcand there seemed to be some good places to get the
work done. Up here not so great, and about $2000.

I would like to lift my 01 Supercrew 4x4 about 3-4" just for aesthetics, no offroading. Anybody know the difference between a body lift and a suspension lift?...
