For the last 10 years I've been in the motorcycle industry. At the
present time I've worked at 3 different shops under 6 different
owners. Being a rider and enthusiast I feel that I'm in touch with
what others are looking for when they walk into a dealership or shop.
The problem, sometimes, is getting the owners, managers, employee's,
distributors and OEM's to understand what makes going into a place of
business a cheer or a chore.
Then again, maybe I don't know my a$$ from apple butter.
I'm seeking general information about what riders, consumers,
customers are looking for in or from a dealer/shop. Not wanting to
bash particular dealers or shops, nor find praise for any either.
Just what 'makes' a dealership/shop someplace you choose, or not
choose to do business with.
The info gathered will be shared with the people I work for and with,
as well as several dealer 'groups' that I'm associated with.
Thanks for your help.
