Description

The VW in the photo had the 10 HP aircraft motor/generator and kaylor adaptor plate with an automatic transmission at 60 volts. Top speed 55 mph, about 60 mile range with 250 AH lead-acid batteries. Has since been sold...

We have recently been working with a gentleman by the name of Gary that has built an EV from scratch, including the frame !! He ordered a custom fibreglass body for it and it is really sharp...His choice of motors was a 35 HP pancake motor and it is really strong!!! You can hold it in one hand!
It is expensive, but is well worth the $1500 (including controller)...
He has an on-board Honda motor-generator charging system and NEVER needs to be plugged in, it is awesome!!!
