G'day
Here is a question I'm sure some of you might find strange but if even
just one person can answer it I will be happy!
I have a HJ tonner and I'm wanting to remove the rear view mirror, it
is on a stalk that goes up to the roof and not onto the windscreen.
There are no screws that I can see holding it and I have tried sliding
it off but can't, does someone know how to get it off? I'm assuming it
is just a normal stock standard one so someone must know.
thanks
Dean.

Hi all!!
Well, it certainly looks like theres been a bit go on since I was
last actively participating on earlyholdentradingpost, people
managing to track down the bits they need, and find buyers for the
bits they no longer need.
I myself must have a big sell-off shortly, I was hoping to post my
sale now but all my pics are on another PC.
Basically I will be selling many boxes/crates full of HD/HR parts, a
couple of cars worth of Premier chrome, and all the usual good bits.
I have multiples of most things, wheelcaps, instruments, dash bits
etc
Will re-message in the not too distant future, once I track down the
individualised pics I did a few months back of all the items, in
high-resolution so you can see what each item is and its condition.
If anyone is interested in the meantime, feel free to reply to this
message, or Yahoo message me
Thanks for keeping earlyholdentradingpost alive guys!!

Can someone tell me when GMH changed the style of the centre console
in the EH Premiers. My car is a November 63 wagon. it has a vinyl
insert in the centre of the console and pads down either side which
is the same colour as the door trims. i was over at tims place the
other day collecting a tow bar and his eh sedan has a console with an
aluminuim checker style centre and no side pads.
Perhaps one of these is an EJ console or did they just change the
design somewhere along the way???

Hi,
I'm trying to source a selector shaft seal for a 3spd
gearbox to
suit a grey motor. I would be very grateful if
anybody has any
ideas on where I can find one. I have 2 gearboxes and
both are
leaking from the selector shaft.
Cheers Ian
