Howdy,

Happy 4th of July.
Our annual Electric Vehicle Rally and Show is less than 2 months away.
We will have electric vehicles on display to the public and those who
participate in the rally will offer EV rides to the public.

The location is the north parking lot of Palo Alto High School at the corner of
El Camino Real and Embarcadero Road. The EVent goes from 10 AM to 4 PM although
we start setting up before 8 AM. Electric Vehicle charging will be available.

This is one of the largest EVents of this kind and attracts a big crowd each
year. Admission is free although we do request a $20 donation from those who
display EVs and/or participate in the rally to help offset the high cost of
renting the High School parking lot. Additional vehicles can be displayed for
half price.

We request a $100 donation from vendors who will get a covered 10 x 10 booth.
All donations are tax deductible.

If you would like to volunteer with the behind-the-scenes planning and/or help
out on the day of the EVent, please email me privately. We have a separate
Yahoo group for the volunteers so we can keep the messages between volunteers
amongst ourselves.

(The EAASV Rally Volunteer list currently has about 40 members while we have
almost 400 subscribers to this group). I already sent an email to the volunteer
group, so if you received that email you are good to go.
