Hey all,

First please mark your calendar, Friends of Dumont will host the “First
Annual Dumont Day” Saturday march 15th . We will organize a Cleanup and
(most likely) a family Pokerrun. It’s all in the beginning and lots of work
to do, but we have already BLM Barstow cosponsoring the Cleanup(they can not
cosponsor the Pokerrun, but they will help us there as much as they can). We
are currently trying to contact other clubs and organizations to help us
with this event and I’m pretty sure we find some help there. But still when
you have some ideas OR have some spare minutes to volunteer before or during
the event please let us know ;-)

Then I updated the BBS software at the Friends of Dumont site, hope there
are some problems solved. I also started a new board for Cleanup/Pokerrun
discussion.

More Dumont news:

Dumont road should be repaired. (not graded, only bad spot repair)
Fee Demo nothing new (good news ;-)
Sperry wash is fenced, you can only enter it through the gate

Our next Dumont trip will be the weekend after Halloween. When you are out
there, feel free to come by … we are easy to find … red International truck
with big V8rail lettering ;-)
