SUNDAY 05/20/07 GDA RIDE

Hey Guys,

I contacted the GDA for the pruposed route this Sunday. Here it is.

I will be leaving my house in Los Angeles Fourth Street off the 5 Fwy
at 7:45am and heading to Glendale/Burbank to meet with a couple of
other people at Patricks Cafe on San Fernando Road between Alameda
and Western.

Then we are meeting another group up in Sylmar at the Denny's off
Roxford and the 5 Freeway. We will leave there at 9:00am and go to
the GDA headquarters which is just under a couple of miles from
there. We can register on the spot and get ready to go on the ride
that is described below.

2007 "RIDE FOR GUIDES DIRECTIONS

START FROM GUIDE DOGS OF AMERICA TO STOP #1:
· Turn LEFT out of parking lot on GLENOAKS to ROXFORD, and turn
RIGHT
· Proceed approx. ˝ mile to take the 210 Fwy EAST
· Proceed 17.2 miles and exit ANGELES CREST Hwy/La Canada-
Flintridge, turn RIGHT
· Enter SHELL GAS STATION on the LEFT
You are now at STOP #1
SHELL Gas Station

FROM SHELL TO STOP #2:
· Turn RIGHT out of SHELL parking lot, and continue up ANGELES
CREST Hwy
· Proceed approx. 25 miles to NEWCOMB'S RANCH INN on LEFT side
You are now at STOP #2

FROM NEWCOMB'S TO STOP #3:
· Turn RIGHT out of Newcomb's parking lot, and continue down
ANGELES CREST Hwy
· Proceed approx. 8 miles to UPPER BIG TUJUNGA and turn RIGHT
· Proceed approx. 8˝ miles to ANGELES FOREST Hwy and turn LEFT
· Proceed approx. 1 mile to HIDDEN SPRINGS CAFÉ on RIGHT side
· You are now at STOP #3

FROM HIDDEN SPRINGS TO GUIDE DOGS OF AMERICA:
· Turn RIGHT out of Hidden Springs parking lot, and continue
down ANGELES FOREST Hwy
· Proceed approx. 8 miles to ANGELES CREST Hwy, and turn RIGHT
· Proceed approx. 9 miles to the 210 Fwy WEST
· Proceed approx. 17.2 miles to EXIT at ROXFORD, and turn LEFT
· Proceed approx. 1/2 mile to GLENOAKS and turn LEFT to Guide
Dogs of America and ENJOY THE FUN!
