Hey I just joined and just wanted to give a brief overview of my 2000
Neon Highline 2.0L SOHC.

Currently I don't have my license (too many tickets!) but I get it
reinstated in less than 3 weeks. Before I lost my license, my Neon
was completely stock... and now that I'm no longer paying for gas and
I'm able to save up some money I've been making some modifications.

1st modification - AEM cold air intake: definitely a hp increase and
sounds boggy and beastly (unlike a whine a lot of cars mainly imports
give out)
2nd modification - Dual Catback Exhaust: Not only does it look cool,
but works amazing. Another hp increase... and very thankful to take
off the old muffler (if anyone would be interested in buying a
replacement muffler -well there ya go)
(Needless to say I took it for a little test drive)
3rd modification - LED white racing glow gauges: Got a little tired
of the plain green numbers w/red needle and installed this. Very
bright and looks nice.

Audio Modifications:
All stock speakers have been completely taken out and replaced.
2 Sony 280 watt 3-way front door speakers
2 Pioneer 350 watt 3-way 6x9 speakers (that operate at a lower ome)
2 Sony 1000 watt 12" Explode Subwoofers
It sounds amazing and you can hear this little neon coming from miles
down the road just from the subs.

Modifications that are currently in the process of being shipped to
me...
16G TD05H Mitsubishi Eclipse/Talon/EVO III Turbo
Custom made manifold and flanges
7 Color Turbo Boost Gauge and Pod
OBX Racing Headers
M3 Side View Mirrors w/interchangable LED for turn signal/running
lights (blue & amber LED)
Euro Altezza Tail lights

Future ideas for modifications...
Complete switch to manual transmission (it's currently an automatic)
Air bag suspension or racing struts
Body Kit & Spoiler
Lowering Springs
Neon lighting inside of car (under dash, under seats, in trunk)
