major brake job on the car forced tyou to let it go? what did it cost like
400.oo?
i had a 76 wagon.. didnt cost me a dime other than a tune up and a brake
master cyclinder.... just wish the motor was a a little peppier. i ofter think
anout it now, what it would run like with a 3.9L magnum or better yet, a 5.2
worked with a mild 3.58" stroked crank in it, hd heads, and a mild cam. shorten
the rear a bit, 10" wide rims in the back with 12" wide tires...thing would be
nasty

Good luck. The very first car I ever owned in my life was a 1974 dodge
colt station wagon that my dad puchased brand new in 1974. He passed
it on to me at graduation from high school 1985 and I had it for 8
years after that but when a major brake job had to be done I had to
let it go. I still miss that little car. Hoping someday I'll find a
little cheap one again that I could goof around with and restore. I
watch e-bay all the time for it but haven't seen one in years.
Again I say...good luck.
