1970 DODGE CHARGER R/T
Powered by the original 440 4-barrel engine with a Torqueflite automatic. This Charger is in the Chrysler Registry and was decoded by Galen Govier. At the time it was decoded, it was #5 of 15 in sequence of 1970 440 4-barrel Charger R/T's built in Saint Louis and sold new in Canada. It is also #2 of 3 RT/SE's "Y07" Code, and the only one with the super performance axle package, DANA 60, "A32" Code with auto speed control "N88". Govier also said it was one of the highest optioned R/T Chargers he had decoded. One more option and it would be a 2 Fender Tag car. This type of car was only built at the Saint Louis plant. The engine and transmission are numbers matching. The car comes with the original Broadcast Sheet. The options are too numerous to mention. It was documented in the Chrysler Registry as being 1 of 1.
This very nice car sold for $58,300 at the 2009 Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event in Scottsdale, Arizona.
