I'm the one that bought that Dnepr Flicka posted about on the wagners group last
year, after spending about 10 yrs disassembled in that guys garage, and I've
spent the last yr hunting up parts, the last ones finaly got here Mon, bought a
Batt Tue, and found the carbs were pluged up and the bowls wouldn't even fill
up, lucky I had a spare pr of carbs, put them on then no spark. Tonite found the
points weren't making contact, filed them and got them working, but still no
spark, bad coil, put on my spare, but no wire connecters to connect it, (black
plastic in place of the hand wound one), but I had to just poke the wires onto
the coil, and try. 1/2 way threw the 1st kick she fired up and idled smooth,
Splyacha Krasunya, has been reborn and staying with her sister Duscha out in my
garage. Gotta love these Russian girls. From what I heard when I was buying it,
she was a Yuri kit that this guys son bought 2 of, gave this one to him and it
just sat on the pallets all these years, and they lost a couple boxes of the
parts.
