Well.. Removing the screws under the ash tray "pan" did the trick.. I pulled those out this morning, then saw two retaining clips under the stereo.....

Also consider training your torque converter.. It holds a LOT more fluid than the pan.. I ran a wire to my battery (+), and one to the starter solenoid.. ...

The waste gate allows excess exhaust flow past the turbine fins, so as not to spin them to fast, creating to much boost, and the problems associated with same....
