Not really sure. Went to the scene this morning. We determined where it happened, just not sure how. He went over a median and hit a pole at Altemesa and 35. No skid marks, just a bunch of scrapes in the pavement.

Not going to make it this year and I wanted to pick up a few things at the show this year.

In Austin attending a class on Accident Scene Management for motorcycles.  Very interesting class.  I know CPR/First Aid but there is a whole lot more to it than that when handling motorcycle crash victims.

Anyway, if you made it hope the show was good.  If you didn’t hope you get to go tomorrow.

A few of you in the group no Thumper. Her son sent this out a little bit ago, Keep her in your thoughts and Prayers.

Rainman
This is Alex Daniels again with an update on our Mom, Sandy "Thumper" Daniels:

I am sending this to several people in her address book so if I am not reaching
many others please forward this to update more of her friends please. She has
had alot of muscle spasms in her back this week but trying not to take pain
pills because they make her very sick which hurts her lung, ribs and shoulder.
She went to her Dr. and 2 orthopedic surgeons this week and they put her on
anti-inflammatories which seem to be helping the spasms and overall swelling.

Her injury to her right shoulder ended up being worse than the E.R. thought.
She has a separated shoulder, torn legiments along with the broken collar bone.
Since the break is at the end right by the curve of her shoulder, and because of
her being a small woman, they will have to install a metal plate and screws in
her shoulder to stablize everything.

She is scheduled for surgery on her shoulder this coming Thursday and our Mimi
is flying out to take her to surgery and take care of her for the next few weeks
since we have to go to school during the day and Ethan has band practice every
night.

The other problems she is having are with her neck, spine, pelvis, hip, lower
jaw, lung and rib cage, but the Dr. said that they will do something about all
that after the surgery on her shoulder.

You can call or text her on her cell 972-352-9959 or email her here but she can
respond in short replies on her Blackberry phone. But she is alert and trying
to stay positive to get better quickly and get back to work. She is very
restless. You know our Mom. lol

Thanks for keeping our Mom in your thoughts and prayers. She really needs them
right now. We are very lucky to still have her around.

Thanks
This is Alex, Sandy "Thumper" Daniels son. My mom was in a serious motorcycle
accident ten
minutes after she left work Friday.

She was rear-ended on 75-S in Richardson which slammed her into the van in front
of her, ejecting her from her bike. The ambulance took her to Plano Medical
Center for treatment.

She is in a lot of pain but ok She suffered a broken right clavicle, severe neck
strain, and internal bruising of the right rib-cage and lung among other issues.
Its very hard for her to breathe. They put her in a sling, and she is supposed
to see an
orthopedic surgeon sometime this week. My brother and I are taking care of her.

Please keep our Mom in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

Whatever happened to TWT?  I guess people are just too busy.  Do you still have the HCR shirt you brought back for me?  If you don't, I completely understand.  But if you do, I'd like to make arrangements to pick it up.

Thanks!

Any suggestions on where to find a right side saddlebag guard and saddlebag handle/latch for a 2001 Nomad?  Kawasaki Carrollton wanted $132.00 just for the handle/latch and couldn't find a saddlebag guard in their parts catalogs!

As always, thanks for the help!
