The early Vega cooling was sufficient if the radiator was full. But the iron head and aluminum block caused fretting of the gasket and weeping of coolant....

John The main problem with the oil pan is clearance for any type of Vega Exhaust, the CV Exhaust header misses the pan since it connects to the cross over pipe...
