1964 Cad Convertible. Red with white top. Fresh rebulid. Motor (429),
carb, trans. Drive anywhere car. It's nice !!! Underpriced because need of
cash. Asking $6500.00 OBo
Actually I have the original motor, but it's
getting tired. I would like to swap it for something more
peppy. I think 365 will fit like in a 53 Eldo, but I was
wondering if an early 390 will bolt up. If it does, what
are the years? I have a source of early engines and
transmissions. A complete rebuild kit for a hydromatic is
available through Kanters
It's not likely you'll find one. 330 cad, 328
olds, etc. I'd guess, I'll check and get back to you
tomorrow. But, if you don't have the original engine for
it, I say ditch the cast iron hydromatic-they're
flawed and parts are expensive and hard to find.
I have a red '83 Fleetwood Coupe and would like to trade it for limo or formal.

How about a set of Hudson tail lights? Or the
Continental spare well from a 41 Lincoln Cont Coupe? I have a
lot of old parts stored in a tractor shed in
Tennessee. Might have a grille or bumper you'd like. Also
have a very nice LaSalle grille, 1937 I think with art
deco V8 logo intact.
John
I just wanted to say hello. Just joined the Club
and I am anxious to get to know y'all. I currently
have 3 Cadillacs. A 73 Fleetwood 75, a 76 Seville and
a 79 Seville Elegante. I have owned others from the
70's era in the past, notably a 73 Eldorado El Diablo
and a 78 Eldorado coupe. I also have a fondness for
the 50's era models. Also the early Eldorados
and......etc almost all of them I guess. Hope to talk to y'all
soon,
John
