I owned an '83 and still think this body style is one of the very nicest on the road, but sadly with the 4100 motor I feel they are problem, money-pit cars.

I just saw, sitting on a lawn in my neighborhood here in Sunrise, Florida a really nice white 85 Eldorado covertible. White top, red leather interior. From the outside it looks really clean. Top is dirty. Says "cold air" and the guy is has a price of $9,900 on her. If only I didn't have my 91 Allante and 89 Coupe,,,,, really nice looking car. 89,000 miles.

That's true that 4100 was a problem. I've done way 2 many head gaskets, along with the other issues that came along with that 1. I tend 2 stay far away from...
