Hi, 6 volt generators use a kind of O ring as a rubber seal. One good thing to do to make it not leaking, is to use high temp gasket glue with the rubber seal....

Hi Mike, A battery coil ignition is pretty much stone axe simple. Disconnect the feed side of your coil, and run a little jumper wire from your hot side...
