I have a 2007 GX with 48k miles.
Check some things out before driving it even a few blocks as you do not wish to damage engine more than it is. I.e oil level? Coolant leak? Running extreme rough? Will it idle OK? Did it overtemp?
Also possible for you to buy code checked to see what your car computer says is wrong.

We use University Honda in Davis, CA very fair in treatment and prices. We avoid Berkeley Honda as they hard sell unnecesary work at high prices.

My check engine light is on and need to take it in for serving and a checkup. Its a 2005 GX with 38K miles and last was a major service at 27K in 11/07. Looking for recommendations on the best/cheapest place. Previously serviced at SF Honda but would like to avoid them if possible for cost reasons.
