Are you sure that the puddle was radiator fluid and not A/C moisture? The amount of air exposure to the radiator on the HHR is much larger than any other car...

The owners manual states that 91 octane is recommended but not required. When I went to HHR training, the cars they had all had 87 octane and all ran great....
